Trivia at The Cashew

For those who don't know, its a Geeks Who Drink trivia event, with food, beer, and prizes to be won! Gift certificates go out to the winners (at least top 2 teams) and there are bonus questions throughout the event to win free appetizers.

Teams for GWD can have a maximum of six participants. I would recommend we get there a bit early (by 7:45) to split us all up into evenly sized teams.

I wonder when they will realize they aren't making much off of trivia nights? I hope no time soon.

We ended up winning 2 of the 3 bonus questions, and got 2 for 2nd place

So, apparently the host loved our AD references for team names. And for our third team, this is what she had to say:
"Patrick is a Traitor!—not sure who Patrick is, but he seemed fine to me. No traitor-like qualities to speak of. Actually, I did meet Patrick and he seems like the betraying type."

I'll be there a bit earlier, say 5:30, since I get off at 5:00. Alternatively, if somebody wanted to meet somewhere and play a couple of quick games, I'd be down (and have some quick games in my car).

Just called. They said they think they can open it up at around 7:30. So Cider Block it is until then!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
