Thanks for coming, everybody. Congratulations to Brad on winning the tournament. The winery loved having us and told us we're welcome back anytime.

My son just got me to agree to take him to a video game tournament. I played the game once at Pinera Bread and would like to do it again . Maybe next time.

    Is there an entry fee?

    • Chris W.

Nope. We'd love to have you.

Is there an estimate of how long the tournament will last? I doubt I'll get through the first round, but wanted to double-check just in case.

I'd estimate three and a half to four hours. We're going to split into as small of groups as possible, and there'll only be two games.

For the whole event, not just the game.

I'm looking forward to this. If you don't know how to play, come at noon, and I'll teach you how to play. We'll start the tournament at 1:00. If you know of others that are interested, encourage them to come; Stonemaier games was hoping we'd have at least a dozen.

Who all has copies of the game they can bring? I've got the prize copy, plus I know Fred and Patrick have copies.

To paraphrase the English translation of Omar Khayyam: A Book of Verses underneath the Bough,
A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread--and Thou
Beside me gaming in the Wilderness--
      Oh, Wilderness were Paradise enow!"

IIRC, didn't you propose this as part gaming and part picnic lunch? I can contribute a genuine Greek Village Salad.

I don't know if the winery allows outside food, but I can check.

Since I'm from Michigan, is there a tasting room/area at the winery. I'd like to get in the proper mood! ;-D

Never been to a winery that didn't have one. It would be tragic to have to look and not touch.

      Agreed!
