Brent - I can host a game night at my house sometime in August or September.? Things are a little crazy in July.? I live in South KC near 125th St. and State Line.? About 8 minutes south of 435 and State Line.? In the past we have had?a lot of fun setting up the wii in the family room (along with our old school nintendo for Zelda and Contra Fans).? Then we have one game going in the kitchen and if it is a big group another game in the dining room.?Also, I have 4?year old son and would welcome other kids as long as their parents keep an eye?on them. -Andrea

After out great meetup last night, Im excited to kick off our boardgame group with several events. As youre aware, Im looking for volunteers to host meetups at private homes to offset meeting at public(less fun) venues.
If youre like me, you live in an apartment and think you may not be able to host an event. However, many apartment communities have clubhouses available for use for their tenants, often for FREE. If this applies to you, please feel free to take advantage and try hosting a boardgame night with us! Ill offer all the help in gettting things set up so everyone can enjoy a great evening.
Im open to suggestions from ALL of our members about possible locations, games, and themes. Im looking for assistants to help me plan and coordinate, and always feel free to include your friends and family when joining us for a meetup!
I look forward to meeting all of you at a future meetup, and I hope you have a great holiday weekend!
