Beltane Public Ritual by Lushede Grove

May 12, 2013, 3:00pm, Waterfall Park

" The Young God of new vegetation springs forth,
And the Maiden Goddess twines her flowery fingers through his hair"

The Lushede Grove invites you to attend the Beltane public ritual. Come celebrate with us!!! The Lord and Lady are feeling randy and so am I. This should be a great event.

There will be a potluck to follow we will be grilling the burgers and dogs. Please bring a side dish and or dessert to share. This one will be outside, so be sure to bring a drink for yourself or to share.

We are working on raffle items for this event and have several cool things already lined up. Bring a dollar or two or twenty and you may take home one of them for yourself or to give as a gift. This is how we continue to afford to put on these events, and we appreciate the support from our community.

This is a new venue, but it looked like a great spot, a dock on the "lake," lots of trees, a nice pavilion and a park with lots of equipment for the kiddies.

As always these are family friendly events. Dress in ritual wear or casual. All are welcome as long as they respect the sacred space we are creating.

Hope to see you all there! Getting excited about spring and the upcoming warm weather and outside events..

The Lord and Lady provided the perfect Spring weather for this ritual! I look forward to these gatherings. They energize me for days. I loved the May pole and all the smiling faces I was surrounded by. Thanks to all of you who made this wonderful happen for all of us.

Great day, great ritual great friends, I am so glad to see so many of you come out. The new venue was lovely if a little populated and the Maypole turned out great, even if we didn't dance it perfectly, which was part of the fun. Thank you to John Mitchell, our bard for the lovely music, Jason Jay Charleston, Selene Rati, Urban Crone, Aesithiar Runekafi, Jana Springer, and Bobbye Simpson for all of the great raffle items, and of course to my coven, Milady Ripley, Vicki Marshall, Antha Maren, Barbara Walley, and Dawn Dawn Hawkins, and to Micheal Whited and Thorgo from Elohim for all of your help, if it weren't for all of you I could not do these events so fully. And especially thank everyone who came out to celebrate with us. It is always worth the effort to see you all enjoy yourselves at our events. See you on Father's Day at 4:00pm.
