As we approach warmer Spring weather, come join us as we explore the Pagan themes in this movie.
Movie Summary: After receiving bad news from a fertility doctor, Cindy and Jim Green try to bury their dreams of having a child by writing out all the great traits their child would have and putting them in a box in the garden. During a freak storm in the middle of the night, they awake to find a boy named Timothy, with leaves growing from his ankles, standing in their kitchen calling them mom and dad. Cindy and Jim are thrown into the midst of parenthood and over the coming months, Timothy will teach them more than they could have imagined about being parents and raising a child, no matter how he comes into their lives.
We will follow the 105 minute movie with a POSITIVE sharing of what Pagan themes we saw during the movie.
We will be in the library's conference room and displaying the movie using a projector upon a screen. Snacks are allowed and encouraged. There are plenty of chairs, but there is room for blankets or comfortable (clean) camp chairs if you choose.
This is open to everyone!
This event is FREE! Donations will be accepted to help us with expenses for Kansas City Pagan Pride Day but please do not let that deter you from coming!
