Summer Solstice Ritual with Líithi Lushede

"In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer."
                                                                           Albert Camus quote

The Ladies of Líithi Lushede invite you to come out and celebrate the Summer Sostice with us! The Oak King is at his height and most powerful at this time of year. We shall dance, sing, feast and make music in his praise.

We will have a potluck to follow for feasting and fellowship. We will grill the burgers and dogs and you bring a side or dessert to go with. It is hot this time of year, don't forget to bring a cool drink for yourself or to share with everyone.

As always we will have a raffle to help offset the costs of holding these events. We have some amazing folks in the community who donate their services and items to make these thins happen.

These are family friendly events and everyone is welcome to attend. Always a good time with a wonderful group of folks. Can't wait to see you all there.

I wanted to know if there are any other vegetarians
in the group? I could make something to bring other than a salad.

I have deleed both conversations that had nothing to do with the upcoming ritual and I remind everyone that this is a place for respectful exchange. Those who cannot adhere to that will be removed from the site and banned.

Hello. I was wondering.....How long does the Summer Solstice Ritual last on Sunday? From 5pm until when? I have never been to the waterfall, nor to a Summer Solstice Ritual, so, please forgive the questions.....Will there be food for sale there, or should I bring a cooler?

We will have a potluck, please bring something to go with the grilled burgers and dogs we will be providing...bring a drink, it is going to be hot...wear something cool...we are incredibly casual...and have fun...they usually last about 3 hours with ritual, potluck and raffle. click on the link in the description for more information.

I've been curious about this way of life for years, but am now just getting to where I am actually STUDYING it.....I have several popular Wiccan books now, and others, like Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft and several Scott Cunningham books.....I'm a solitary, but am hoping to open up enough to start going to events to meet like minded folks.....All inquires are welcomed..... :-) White Raven
