I've known about it for a while and had joined previously maybe a couple years ago. But then I didn't have too much fun at the 2 meetings I went to (I hate to say that!) got busy with other things, so I dropped out (one less email). But I'm back!
I am more conservative, having coming from a religious background and recently (2, almost 3 years ago) examined my faith with a fine-toothed comb and found it wanting. So that led me out into the great big world of the others, and here I am.
Educational, for sure, although socializing is going to be the thing that holds it all together for me. If I don't make any personal connections, I probably won't continue to come, although it would depend on the quality of the program that time. But even if it's only a mediocre program planned, if I have a social connection, I am much more likely to come. So I guess socializing for me would, in all honesty, be the top priority. Now, how you facilitate that is another matter, lol!
Hi, I'm Jeannine. I may be interested in starting to come to the breakfasts to meet a few folks, although I can't say definitively this time of year, but for sure sometime in the next 2 months. I love freethinking and (most) of what goes with it!
