The English translation hardly does justice to the original title, for this documentary film is indeed about the “power of images”. Riefenstahl was 90 years old when this film was made. Though undoubtedly a gifted director, her passionate insistence that art was art, politics was politics, and the two had nothing to do with each other, begs the question: How blind was the eye behind her camera?

Looking forward to a great discussion!

Don't think I can translate "Die Macht der Bilder: Leni Riefenstahl" to " The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl" But it sounds more interesting in english then in german. Its a Maybe for me...
