Guided tour through Karlsruhe

A city designed on the drawing board...

Christa Albiez, who will be our englishspeaking tour guide, was born in Karlsruhe and is very fond of her hometown.

She will show us some well known, as well as hidden highlights of the City.

We will meet us at the Festplatz in front of the Konzerthaus.

The tour will last approximately 2 hours and is limited to 15 people.

First come, first served...sorry.

Thank you so much to Christa, Kurt and the other ex-KIT man (sorry, I can't remember your name!) for your efforts! I enjoyed it very much.

Knowing the history of Karlsruhe makes definitively the city more familiar. Thanks for the organizing the tour. Thanks also for the perfect weather :)

Great initiative, thank you for organizing this event. I had a lot of fun, and I am sure everyone else did as well, even though it was a little difficult to hear the guide at times. I will definitely go again another time.

    Hi'er,
Must say I liked it and I have learned my lesson well, next time we restrict it to a maximum number of participants. Christa can also do tours on specific subjects but for this the group has to be smaller...We see to that.
    Take care
    Kurt

It should be limited by the first 15 who signed up. I was #15 :) So, I guess this means show up early for the tour?

Hi Sara, Kurt, our host, has thought about this already - see the other posts. So don't worry, there'll be room for everyone who's still keen enough. We can thank our guide for accepting us all :)

Hi you guys (and girls, in case there is a misunderstanding of that term)

With the number of the participants we just leave it as it is, meaning the ones who signed up may come (how generous of me :-)). I reckon that some will drop out as usual...
I have heard that the guide has a strong voice...

    ta ta for now
looking forward to seeing you all
    Kurt

    PS: Don't forget the brolly

    Hi,
I must admit I'm quite surprised about the feedback on this. The limitation to 15 people came from the guide herself. I will inquire about a possible push up of this figure, although I would say that ongoing 30 (there are 2 others from the DEF) might be too many.
Being a member for a few months now, I learned, that many people sign up and change their mind shortly before the event takes place. Maybe we can count on that. The 14 days weather forecast predicts rain, maybe this helps..:-)
Just kiddin', I will come back on this...
    Take care
    Kurt
