The beekeeper and his trade -2nd attempt

I had a call some hours ago. We will try it again...the weatherforecast looks good!

This event is limited to 10 people, so first come first served...

Marc la Fontaine, an experienced beekeeper, who had already lived in Thailand to practise his professeion, will show us his bee-hives. This event is meant for alle those who:

-want to know more about bees and their fascinating life
-want to taste a honey-comb
-want to have a close look at what the bees are doing
-are interested in watching the young bees emerge
-want to try to spot the queen
-want to try some mead

We will meet in Durlach-Aue at the tram-stop Steiermaerker Strasse (tram no. 8 or 2) at 14.00 hours. From there it is a short walk to the bee-hives.

In case of rain or another ice age the event will be cancelled.

PS: Just in case...you should not be allergic to bee-stings...
