I classify myself as an amateur photographer of intermediate expertise. I know almost all the basics of photography. However I don't plan my shots and locations for landscapes and closeups. I take whatever is available at the time I am there and make the best photograph I can for the light, time of day and weather condition.
Crystalline minerals from 2.5 cm to 30 cm in size in a studio setting. Landscape photography on vacation trips. Close up photography of flowers, butterflies, rock formations, etc.
I can demonstrate how to photograph minerals, jewelry, gemstones in a home studio setting.

Long time photographer, mostly landscapes and macro mineral crystals, expanding into people, concerts, animals, quilts, and vacation photos. Now shooting digital with a Nikon D7000. Interested in continuing to learn the digital world and processing.
An active group with all levels of amateur to professional photographers. I'll be able to learn some things while also sharing what I know with less experienced photographers.
