The FotoFest Biennial is the United States' largest and longest-running international photography festival. It is one of the oldest international showcases for photography in the world today. We have an opportunity to be part of it. Fotofest will be in several venues in Katy. While the theme of the main exhibit is "Russia", in Katy the theme will be "What is Katy?" We have been invited to submit digital images for consideration. Upon selection, they will need to be matted and framed for exhibition in white mats and black frames. Size will be determined by the curator who will give you several weeks notice upon accepting your images.
Images need to be submitted no later than January 14th to [address removed] for consideration. If selected, the photos will hang in one of the venues in Katy from March 16-April 29th.
This is a huge opportunity for us, so get out there and shoot anything and everything Katy and enter. There is no limit to the number of shots that you can enter, but remember you will need to print, matt and frame them.
Best of luck to all of you.
