Hawaiian Musician, Singer and Kumu Hula Keali'i Reichel is performing in concert as the Big Event starting off the weekly E Kanikapila Kakou concert series presented by the Garden Island Arts Council. Tickets are $25 each. A few of us already have tickets and are planning to go. I believe this concert is already sold out. I bought the last tickets in Kapaa last week.
I have 0 tickets left. If you haven't bought your ticket yet, you might check, the Hawaiian Music kiosks at Princeville Center, Coconut Market place (both sold out last time I checked) Island Soap and Candleworks, Scotty's Music and the Kauai Beach Resort.
More information about Keali'i Reichel is here:
I would suggest getting there early to get good seats. I plan to arrive between 5:30 and 6:00pm to save my seat and then just go out and enjoy the beach or pool bar before the show begins. I will only save seats for those with tickets in hand or if your ticket is being held at Will Call. Don't plan on buying a ticket at the door.
If you'd like to meet in advance and sit together or nearby, rsvp and we can make a plan to get good seats and then enjoy a pre-show light meal at the Driftwood Bar or dine on whatever they may be selling in the back of the ballroom if open early. They often have local food plates, beer, wine, soda, cookies, etc.
