Mahaulepu to Kipu Kai Lookout

Five mile round trip, hot, usually windy, some rough terrain, and some kiawe to scratch you up a bit.  You may want to wear long pants.  Bring water, snacks, sun protection, and your camera.  Bring a swimsuit if you fell like jumping in the bay to cool off at the end of the hike. Meet in the shipwreck Beach parking lot and we will drive to Mahaulepu from there.

Would love to do this hike in the next two months but can't make it today. Enjoy!

Sounds fun. How long do you think the hike will take? We have a commitment in the afternoon.

It's not that long a hike but usually a lot of time is spent stopping for photos along the way. Then, an hour or so at the lookout having lunch and enjoying the amazing views. I don't think we'll get back to our cars at the beach until about 3 or so. I lead this hike many times each year so if you're living here it will be offered again.
