Full Moon Beach Bonfire

For November, the Full moon occurs Wed/28th.
Let's plan to do this the night before (Tuesday) due to a "Survivor" conflict, unless there is a consensus for a "sort of" Full Moon on Sat/24 or Sun/25.
Hump the wood, bring the goodies, all the usual stuff ...

Fun! Didn't get to talk to everyone in attendance, but it sounded like there was plenty conversation going on. Nice mix of new and old friends.

Thank you all for the great experience that added a great memory to my trip and for being such wonderful hosts to a visitor of your beautiful island! I'll definitely start planning my next trip to enjoy more activities with this group.

Hi everyone, i will be visiting Kauai from the 20th of dec, on my own, all the way from rainy UK...I would love to make some local friends during my stay. My budget is quite low as well - so if anyone has a room or sofa free for a few days - you would be a life saver! I hope to hire a car when im there - so will be out and about most days and you are welcome to tag along with me.
Look forward to meeting some of you - fingers crossed there will be another full moon bonfire while im there!

For any newcomers, we usually meet at 5pm around the picnic table at the southern end of the Kealia Beach Park, directly oceanside of the 10 mile marker. One of the last picnic tables, where several of us will be getting jolly. Bring whatever you'd like to eat and drink, and if it's sharable, all the better. Finger foods are best, but we will have plates, cups, napkins and possibly some utensils. Bring a chair or something to sit on for when we adjourn to the beach to watch the full moon rising over the ocean and perhaps build a fire. It can get chilly if you aren't sitting near the fire, so dress accordingly. In case anyone gets lost, you are welcome to phone me for directions or anyone else who has furnished their number. Julie[masked]-9443. See you there!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
