Please answer each question. How many miles do you prefer to paddle? How many hours do you like to paddle? Can you get back into your boat unassisted, if you flip, & do you carry the gear required to do that & do you practice doing that?

I've paddled between 1 and 5 hours

Our paddles try to provide aerobic exercise, so you need to be able to and want to paddle 3 - 4 miles at a good clip, without taking a break. Please confirm that that is what you can do.

I sometimes sprint-as is my nature in sports- but I love gliding along, enjoying the economy of movement, while scanning for sights not seen from shore.

Do you plan to bring a dog on our walks? You are VERY welcome to walk with us without a dog. And you can bring guests on walks (but not on paddles).

I probably wont be walking with the group.

You must read the Accident Waiver of Liability that is on the Home Page before completing your request to join this group. Have you read the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability? Do you agree to it ?

yes

If you are a "no show" twice, you will be automatically dropped from the group. You must apply as an individual. To kayak with us, you must be able to get back into your boat, if you capsize. I practice one day a year & it gets harder every year.

Introduction

I live in western Mass but consider rising very early for a day's paddle on the Cape a treasure. I recently encountered a pod of dolphins at the tip of Jeremy Point in Wellfleet! I'd like to share these sights with a group....
