Please answer each question. How many miles do you prefer to paddle? How many hours do you like to paddle? Can you get back into your boat unassisted, if you flip, & do you carry the gear required to do that & do you practice doing that?

A typical paddle is 3 -4 hours or so. But with a lunch-break and time for a swim, we'd love to do full days.

Our paddles try to provide aerobic exercise, so you need to be able to and want to paddle 3 - 4 miles at a good clip, without taking a break. Please confirm that that is what you can do.

Made through two season no problem, so I guess that's a yes

Do you plan to bring a dog on our walks? You are VERY welcome to walk with us without a dog. And you can bring guests on walks (but not on paddles).

We don't currently have a dog, but that could change.

You must read the Accident Waiver of Liability that is on the Home Page before completing your request to join this group. Have you read the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability? Do you agree to it ?

Yes and yes.

If you are a "no show" twice, you will be automatically dropped from the group. You must apply as an individual. To kayak with us, you must be able to get back into your boat, if you capsize. I practice one day a year & it gets harder every year.

Hi. Jim from Dennis. My wife Sue and I washed ashore in July, 2012. We've had two great seasons with the group so far and are looking forward to another. Great paddles, wonderful people. Plus, who knew herons came in green???
