How long (hours) or how far (miles) do you prefer to paddle? When did you start kayaking REGULARLY?

I began regular paddling regularly in 2012. I began physical training several years ago. I prefer to paddle at least 3 - 5 miles.

Please verify that you are "an experienced and energetic" kayaker who is able to keep up a good rate of speed for 3 hours. This is required for you to paddle with us, although you can join in order to just go on walks with us.

I am an ACA certified kayak instructor. I paddle several times per week; between 3 - 12 miles per trip, at 3 MPH. I enjoy taking photos while paddling and also record our trips on gps which I post (if possible) for the groups to see. (Other paddle groups, AMC, and bike groups.)

If you plan to walk with us, would you like to bring your dog?

I would love to bring my dog. I occasionally take her paddling - when the weather is cooler.
