Proms 60: Britten - Billy Budd

Dear All,

Following last meetup, it was suggested that I should plan a new one for Billy Budd on the 27th of August. For those who wish to join, we could meet at 6pm at the Berry Bros Bar (we can meet again there during the interval). To find the bar, you need to take door 6 and go down stair.

Charlie mentioned that there is a lecture prior to the opera for those interested.

Otherwise, please find below some links to the relevant page on BBC Proms:

and to a thread created by Charlie:

Again, it is better if members who wish to come book their own tickets:

I am sure that Charlie who seems to be well informed, will let us know more about Glyndebourne Proms.

I hope to see you for that evening.

Best wishes,

Lauriane

    Hi Gladys,

The concert is not free. It is part of the BBC proms which are ticketed. Check Lauriane's note above. The last link leads you to the page where you can book a ticket for the event. Click 'Buy Tickets' and choose which ticket to buy. There are still available tickets.

    I hope this helps.
