"There's a little nook down our old Hampstead town,
You know the place it has won great renown
Do come and have a drink or two to celebrate THE NASH ENSEMBLE
Down at the old Bull and Bush Bush"
The pub was a haunt for artists and literary scholars including the famous artist William Hogarth who said to have planted by his own hand the yew bower in the garden. The tradition will continue if you all join in.We will have musicians, singers, teachers and enthusiasts among us planting the seeds of good humour, camaraderie and music.
The forecast is grey and rainy for tomorrow, thus I will try to secure the small corner alcove or recess in the pub.The pub is popular with locals and visitors, and if I cannot secure the table I promised you might have to look for the lady with a red rose in her hand.Camelias are difficult to procure at the moment.
At 15:10,we will cross the road to Ivy House-Anna Pavlova's house and celebrate Nash Ensemble's 50 year anniversary
