Introduction
I love to read books and have looked for a book club for sometime now. This sounds like a great way to start. My husband and I are empty nesters and I am now filing my time discovering who I am.
What kinds of books do you like to read?
My favorite books are murder mystery. I also like a tad bit of humor and history.
Would you be able to suggest a book on a rotating basis for book club?
I have many to suggest yet my suggestion would be based on the groups desire to read such.
Would you be able to meet once per month on Thursday evening?
Thrusday evening is a night I would be able to meet since it is so close to my home. Not long to drive on dark/rainy roads. Did I read correctly that there is also a Covington meeting Thurs. in the early afternoon?

Hi Sherry, I just wanted to clarify. We hold the book club meet up once a month. The next meet up is Thursday February 2. It always takes place on the first Thursday of each month. I just wanted to make sure you knew which date since you wrote that you would be attending on the third Thursday. I'm happy you are enjoying the book! Look forward to seeing you next week.

Hi Sherry! Welcome to the Kent/Covington book club! Our book club takes place the first Thursday night of every month. You can always view what the next book will be by opening the event up. I post the book and author in the comments section. Our book to discuss in February is State of Wonder by Ann Patchett. Looking forward to meeting you at some of our events!
