The KPS invites you to talk about the subjects and ideas that matter to you and to listen to others do the same. The aim of this group is to encourage thoughtful, lively, face to face conversations on topics of interest and import to a wide variety of people. We would like to see groups form all over the Metro where people can feel comfortable discussing the ideas that matter to them and listening to the beliefs and ideas of others on those same topics.
Anyone can suggest a meeting place and an idea for a meet-up. If two people sign on, it becomes an official Meet-up. Members from established discussion groups can be invited to give support or suggestions or you can go it on your own.
What would you like to talk about? Music? Art? Current Events? Social Issues? Science? Child Rearing/Parenting? History? Politics? Or, hey? How about Philosophy? We are betting there are people around town who are interested in thinking and talking about the same things you are.
If you have questions or need more info, hit the Discussion button at the top of the Home page and click “In the Beginning”, post your questions or comment there and the organizers will reply as soon as possible.  Or drop in on any of the discussions or events posted on this page and meet the people already involved.  We would be happy to answer your questions.
Ready to strike out on your own? Start a discussion or suggest a meet-up yourself. Make something interesting happen!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
