KERRY'S KAYAK DAYZ™- PADDLES, TRIPS, GUIDED TOURS OF FLORIDA

Before you decide to join Kerry’s Kayak Dayz you need to know that we are an exclusive group. We are known for our “secret locations and routes” & our many Specialty kayak trips. Our calendar & member comments show only half of what we are about. Although we have to do some public known launch locations we have many locations that are handed down from relatives, fisherman & guides that choose to keep these locations “in the family”.
Yes, the water is open to everyone however, to try & keep our “secret” locations exclusive:
1) We do charge per event for most but not all paddles to cover many operating expenses.
2) We ask that you not share our locations or routes with others.
3) We ask other groups to respect our wishes & the wishes of those that gave us the locations or special routes (do not copy with-out asking us in advance-we do not need the flattery).
4) We ask that you leave your GPS at home (your guide is your GPS).
5) We will always cater to the beginner kayaker & supply fully equipped kayaks. We keep our trips interesting so everyone will want to continue with Kerry’s Kayak Dayz.
6) Your guide is trained in Safety, Search & Rescue and is in the medical field with 30 years of Florida kayaking.
7) We will always follow the enforced safe boating rules.
8) A "Yes" RSVP is a commitment to show. I may bring food & kayaks so If you change your mind at the last minute or Now-Show, Be considerate. If you rsvp as a “YES then change to a “NO” with-in 3 days of an event if you are renting or the same day of the event if not renting; please call me on the cell phone to tell me. I do not have internet in my car, van, kayak, grocery store or launch site. I do not enjoy buying food or ice cream & driving out of my county to the meet up location & waiting for someone that changed their RSVP & did not call me to let me know.
9) Any member not following the above will be removed with-out notice.

As a multi-county kayak group we paddle up to 5 times per week in either Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota counties & we also do road trips or campouts from the Florida keys to live oak Florida. You do not need to own a kayak to paddle with us. We are a group for first time & experienced kayakers & known for our Secret Locations, Free Lessons, Day, Sunset, Starlight, Moonlight, Fitness Paddles, Gourmet Island Dayz, Doggie Dayz, Dolphin Watch, Meteor Watch, Mangrove Tunnel & Banana Foster Paddle, Restaurant paddle & Campouts not to mention my portable kitchen. We are also the original Bradenton / Sarasota kayak meet-up group. We like to paddle in small groups so we do not scare away nature & have no environmental impact.

We have many contest toward our award ceremony
We will instruct you on how to paddle & by request We will deliver a kayak so your car stays untouched, unscratched & doesn't get wet inside from roof straps during the rain.
Our members are Artist, nature photographers, anyone who enjoys kayaking, health, fitness, exploring the beautiful Flora & Fauna found in Florida’s natural springs, rivers, bays & coast lines. We may paddle during the day, sunset or moonlight just to observe wildlife in their habitat, surround ourselves with calming peace and tranquility.
To just to have “Kayak Dayz™”.
A “Kayak Dayz™” can be from 2 hours, 4 hours, or 6 hours upstream & downstream to as much as a week on an Island. After the paddle we usually have a Get Together at a nearby open air restaurant that may have entertainment to discuss the many Florida Kayak trails, plan trips, paddles and excursions or to just chill out.
Your organizer is an experienced kayak paddler who is trained in CPR, Search and Rescue, Safe Boating, Food Preparation, Bird watching and Wood Sculpture.
