Spooktacular Workshop

We were working in the Lab, late one night, when suddenly....

Hey kids, are you ready for Halloween? The entire Electronics for Kids is!!
Come down to Hacker Lab on October 12 and join us in a Spooktacular Halloween Open Workshop. In this workshop you will be able to make a fun project from scratch by yourself or get some help along the way from our team zombies.

The ghouls are as follows:
Come anytime between 9am-1:00pm
- Station 1 will have spooky soldering
- Get crafty at Station 2 and paint your very own spooky eyes
- Station 3 is all about programming the ATTiny

$10/kit (ghosts and goblins included). Any proceed after the components are paid for will go to HackerLab and support this awesome place!
There will spine-chilling refreshments and treats.

Are you in?? Oh, tell your friends as well. Come as a team and make some fun project to display on your front porch on Halloween.

Great event! There was a great decoration station, soldering (or not depending on what the child wanted to do, which was great for my non-soldering 5-year-old), light programming, and even spooky snacks. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The longer timeframe meant stress-free building. Thanks to everyone who put it together!

Stephane - Are you starting at 8 am or 9? It says 8 in the event heading, 9 in the description. We were going to come at 8, but will sleep in a bit longer if 9 is the start time!

BTW it still says ending time of 2pm under the date. The body description is changed but not the time at the top under the date.

We are looking forward to this! It will be our first meetup with this group. I just had a couple of quesitons. One, do you need cash or is check or credit ok? And second, we have another event downtown before this, so we just want to make sure that if we come after 12:30pm we will still be able to do all the stations? Just want to clarify it is a drop in event.

Hi Tammy, thank you for registering. If you can make it by 12:30 that would be great. We have to be in Davis at 2:15pm so we may have to close a bit earlier than 2pm. Cash or Credit is fine. I have a PayPal swipe device. Looking forward to meet. ~Stephane

We actually discussed it and we will try and cut our other event in the morning short and be there by 11:30 or 12:00. Thanks
