The Valley Cultural Center has some great free movies on the big screen on the green on select summer Saturday evenings and some great free concerts on the green on summer Sunday evenings. This particular Saturday Cinema on the Green will feature: "Hugo" We'll meet at the park in Woodland Hills at 4:30pm. Bring picnic blankets to help claim our area. Feel free to bring lawn chairs if you'd like too. Also, bring vegan food to share as we'll have a conscious potluck picnic dinner, along with any needed serving utensils and reusable, washable plates, cups, napkins, and eating utensils for each person in your family. We'll claim our space, (aiming for just east of the projector - from the American flag on the east side of the stage, head towards the tilted tree and pass that try heading towards the sound booth - you will find us there with no problem, if you arrive reasonably punctually), at about 4:30pm. Then, kids can play in the playground or toss a frisbee on the grass, etc. After playing some, we'll potluck picnic our dinner. After dinner, there can be more playtime. The movie will start when it gets dark enough, and we'll enjoy watching and laughing together. Feel free to bring conscious munchies to share then too.
