Love Everything You Think?

Loving What Is; An Intro to The Work of Byron Katie

“Most people do not see their beliefs. Instead, their beliefs tell them what they see. This is the simple difference between clarity and confusion.” – Matt Kahn

In this Intro to The Work we will have a chance to peel back the layers of confusion and finally identify the source of where our stress and suffering often stem from- what we’re thinking and believing. Through isolating the cause of our pain, our stressful beliefs, we will have a chance to answer the questions of The Work experientially and give ourselves an opportunity to discover new possibilities of being within ourselves and therefore the world.

"It's not what happens in life that bothers us. It's what we're believing about it that bothers us." - Byron Katie

How would we show up if our lives weren’t tainted by the colored glasses we wear? What would we see and what would be available to us if our beliefs didn’t dictate our sight? Come check out this powerfully practical tool and lets find out!

Through this workshop you will:

- Learn how to identify the beliefs that generate the stress, frustration, sadness, and confusion in your life

- Familiarize yourself with The Work and leave with clarity on how to do it on your own

- Get acquainted with the various resources available to support you in questioning limiting beliefs

As a practice, this Work can help you:

- Decrease stress

- Improve relationships

- Increase mental clarity

- Alleviate depression

- Reduce anger

- Experience peace

For more information about The Work, please see:

Fee: $20/per person or $35/couple - you may pay with credit card, cash, or cheque at the door.

Beautiful facilitation Susan. Simple to follow steps with profound results. I realized just how much we all want the same things in life - freedom, joy, peace, love and it is possible when you can look at situations from a different lens. When you can ask honestly, is this reaction I am having serving anyone? I look forward to the next steps in learning and practicing the Work. Blessings.

This meetup offered me some real insights into my beliefs. Susan shared and led in such an open and caring way, and created a safe space for us to do The Work.
