Rabbit Peak 15 & 22 Mile Trail Race

Join us for the third and final trail race in our King of the Hill – Trail Running with Attitude Race Series. This series will consist of running, walking or stumbling three (3) of San Diego County’s most scenic, beautiful but challenging mountain peaks. Plus you will encounter various rigourous fitness tasks along the way including push-ups, burpees, etc. The goal is to run to the top then back down again. All courses are out and backs on some of the best trails SoCal has to offer.

This year we will offer a 15 (Villager Peak) & 22 (Rabbit Peak) mile option plus we'll have a 6 mile 'fun run.' Something for everyone!

Two Divisions for the 2012 KoH Season:

  • FLEET OF FEET Division: This is a standard trail run with fitness challenges along the way and water stations. (You will start the race at 5 AM) You will have 12 hours to complete this.
  • BAD ASS Division: This is an unsupported trail run/hump with more extreme challenges along the way. Men must carry 50lbs & women 30lbs in their pack. In addition they must carry all their own food, water & life insurance policy. No aid stations are allowed. Only the truly ‘insane’ need apply! (You will start the sufferfest at 9 PM on Friday) You will have 21 hours to complete this.

Mt Woodson was the 1st, El Cap the 2nd and the Grand Finale is Rabbit Peak. This IS one of the most difficult trail races in Southern California and has NEVER been raced. There will be an option to turn around at Villager Peak (mile 7) due to difficulty.

You MUST register now as we can only allow 250 runners & fastpackers per event due to the size & difficulty of the trails!

This is the route to Villager Peak from last year. Let me know if you can see it. Shows elevations, map, from my Garmin.
