Pathfinder Society 4-18: The Veteran’s Vault (Levels 1-5, Desimire, Sachas Tale)

Newbies absolutely welcomed. Please check the links below for help in creating a legal Pathfinder Society character. If necessary, someone can show up early to a session to help you. Note that players showing up with an incomplete or illegal character sheet will be using a pregenerated character.

There are subtle differences from “Society play” and “Regular Pathfinder”.  Please check the Guide to Organized Play for details.

All players must RSVP to be guaranteed a place in the game, provided a place exists. Priority will be given to RSVPs, then to those waitlisted.

While many Pathfinders meet unfortunate fates in their ongoing explorations of the dangerous world of Golarion, some retire with decades' worth of treasure in their coffers, and their lives still intact. When one such Pathfinder approaches the Grand Lodge with the hidden location of her treasure vault, it falls upon a new generation of Pathfinders to retrieve from within a valuable keepsake. That they can keep anything other than the ex-Pathfinder's locket makes the assignment all the sweeter.

There is a very basic Pathfinder character builder here.  When you first load the program, check the box that says "Use Pathfinder Society Rules".  This program is free for the first five levels, but is limited to three race choices and five class choices.  There are other options out there, but you are responsible for ensuring your character is society-legal.

Note that by RSVPing to attend, you are making a commitment and you may be taking a place that someone else would use.  If plans change, do change your RSVP with them.  No-showing puts you at risk of being kicked.  A second infraction risks a banning.

Pathfinder Society is a community and for the community to grow, everyone needs to contribute.  To that end, we have a loose policy for GMing roughly one out of every five games you play.  To see where you are in our points system, click here to be directed to our discussion thread.  Please be sure to check this thread often for information on Pathfinder Society play in Kingwood.

Matt, I glanced at the paizo site and saw that you had already uploaded yesterday's sessions. That was pretty quick. Only thing I would like to note is that it states that I played the scenario "The Disappeared" twice. I thought the second scenario was "The Veteran's Vault." Did I miss something?

Guys, faction changes are now in effect. Please download the updated Guide to Organized Play and make appopriate changes.

Also note that the Guide has new rules for technology items we may find in season six.

Plus: page 43 is the greatest page ever published for any RPG, ever.

Would it be acceptable to join this if it would be my first Society module ever? (I've played Pathfinder plenty, but not Society.)

Yes it would. Just make sure you have an understanding of the information in the event description.

Is this a continuation of Pathfinder Society 3-07: Echoes of the Overwatched (Levels 1-5, Blakros Museum)?

However, this is part of the Desimire plot, that intertwines with the Blakros family... so... kind of?

There's another Desimire plot scenario at noon: 4-11: The Disappeared.

At Houston Con, we'll have another Blakros family scenario: 5-23: Cairn of Shadows. This'll be repeated at Ettin on November 8th, but I haven't put it in the schedule yet.

On September 13th, we'll have a special event at Ettin that, among other things, will include 6-02: The Silver Mount Collection, which is the latest Blakros family scenario. This'll be repeated at Ettin on November 22nd.

also, 5-25: Vengeance at Sundered Crag is part of the Desimire plot storyline. It'll be offered at Houston Con, and also at Ettin on November 8th (not yet on meetup)

You can play it again. It's a level 1-5 and they are repeatable. :)
