Kirtan Cafe: Mantra, Music & Vegan Living Foods

This is a group for people who may have a vision of a Kirtan Cafe in Minneapolis.

"What's a Kirtan Cafe?"

Well, imagine a Dunns Brothers or Caribou -- with meaning! I mean, something more than, "What kind of wild are you?"

Imagine going into a Dunns Brothers but getting connected to the INNER-NET as well as the INTERNET.

Imagine having uplifting back ground music and daily live Kirtan of which you can join in at any time or just sit in the other room and have your meal?

Imagine having all of your Vegan or near Vegan, Gluten-free, sugar-free food being consciously grown, consciously prepared and spiritually "charged" whether through Krishna or Shiva "prasadam" or through Christian Prayer or Kundalini Chanting.

Imagine eating with other people who want to be there eating with you, drinking tea or yes, even coffee, with you, talking not about sorry politics or woes of the world, but of uplifting spiritual conversation or just sweet, real talk?

Imagine a place you can go where even if you are broke that day you know there will be a prasadam meal served: you enjoy your meal without feeling like a beggar, and you offer some help or service in return, and if not there, you offer it elsewhere, trusting the Universal Forces to provide for you at all times as you live a life of useful service to your higher calling and to others? -- and being supported in that at your cafe?

Imagine being part of bringing this idea -- and more of them in many areas -- into being.

Well, that's what this group is about. There is no obligation to join. Just a desire to be a "part of" something larger than ourselves that is nutritious: both spiritually and physiologically. Oh, and socially!
