Great day and lots of fun. I always like the Scottich Games. So many things to see and do. I have been to Scotland and want to go back, so the games are as close as I can get to Scotland for now.

I have a bunch of brochures and directions that I will provide at the meeting site. Also best parking location. By the way, if the entry rules are the same as in the past, they only take CASH for entry fee, No credit/Debit cards. Booths inside take cards, but not the food booths, only product booths.

My car is full. I will take Sharon C, Mallory and Leslie.

We can set up a meeting place later.

To all others I will send a meeting place at a local site or the games, whichever you prefer. I will enclose directions to both.

Glad to see that so many are interested in going.

Sandra; I've read that the Scottish Kilts originated in England during the Industrial revolution because owners of spinning machines thought that kilts would be safer for their Scottish workers than trousers. Is that true?
As a first generation English-American (born in The Commonwealth of Virginia); I hope that that Scotland (The home of the brave) stays in the Union, or Great Britain.
I'm traveling from Port Townsend, and will be taking the Bainbridge ferry, I'd like to carpool w/ someone and share gas expenses

Men in tights? Perhaps the Englanders of Sherwood Forest. But Scottlanders? No, not really... The Scottsmen wear knee high socks. But its very probable for others there to be wearing era costumes which may include tights. I encourage people to join in the celebration and dress in costume.

Hmmm, being surrounded by men with bare legs wearing kilts. Sounds just like something I just might be interested in! Lol!
