Knit+Wine Field Trip: Rhinebeck Sheep & Wool Festival

Here is the field trip many of you have been asking about and anticipating -- up to Rhinebeck for the Sheep & Wool Festival!! You can find all details about the fair on their website:

The festival runs 9am - 5pm at the county fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, which is just a short taxi ride from the Amtrak train station. We don't all have to travel together, but it would certainly make it more fun, no?

My suggested train schedule is:

depart Penn Station at 10:15 am / arrive Rhinebeck 11:50am

depart Rhinebeck at 6:50pm / arrive Penn Station 8:40 pm

And then whomever rides the train together can split the cab fare to and from the fairgrounds.

Tickets to the fair are $12. Everyone is on their own for buying their train and fair tickets. But if you are planning to go -- even if you are getting to Rhinebeck a different way -- please do rsvp "yes" so that all the Knit+Wine crew can meet up at the fair!

FYI people going to Sheep & Wool Fest,
Amtrak train goes to Rhinecliff. Rhinebeck is the next town over...just so you know.
Looking forward to seeing the group tomorrow.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
