Urban Hikes in the Knoxville/Knox County Area

While on an urban hiking expedition, people may explore points of interest around the city they hike in, find new and interesting places in the region, or stop for food in local eateries. We'll be taking urban hikes in the Knoxville/Knox County area. Our choice of outings reflects a desire to enjoy more than the physical exercise component of hiking, so we are inclined to describe hike venues in terms of potential for stimulating sightings of flowers, birds, architecture, vistas, or their role in important historical events.
