Eight participants started at the upper end of World's Fair Park at 8:30 and did a loop hike down the Second Creek Greenway, the Neyland Greenway to Ned McWheter park, then up to Morningside Greenway, where we did that loop before returning to our starting point using Hazen Drive, Church Street, and Clinch Aveneue. We stopped at the new Knoxville KAT station and at the historic First Presbyterian Church cemetery along the way. Several of enjoyed an early lunch after the hike, at Cafe 4 on Market Square Mall. 5.5 miles and done by 11:15 AM.

For anyone that missed this hike this morning, we are meeting at 6:30pm at the parking lot closest to TN riverboat and next to Bicentennial park. We are walking to James White Parkway Bridge then back across parking lot to the UT Boat house. Total is 3 miles. Hi! For the 24 of June walkers. As much as I like to walk with you all , I decided this is to far for me to drive that early in the morning. I would be coming from west Knoxville and would hit the working People traffic driving in town. Inge

Tonya, with the Meetup group "Alive After 35" is leading a similar walk the same day but in the evening. For those that can't make our morning walk here are the details. They are leaving from the Bicentennial Park side of the parking lot closest to riverboat, then are walking to the James White Bridge and back which is (2.0) miles. Then they are walking to the UT Boat House and back to our cars which is another mile, for a total of 3 miles. Meet in the Bicentennial Park parking lot at 6:30pm. The Alive After 35 group is co-ed.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
