The holidays can be difficult in a different country and without family. For all of you that are homeless, I will be hosting some Christmas events at my home. My flat is tiny, but you are welcome to join.
For my family, it is tradition to watch holiday movies on Christmas Eve (Dec 24th). I thought about watching some movies and eating some unhealthy snacks starting about 6 p.m. Some films on the menu are A Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Santa Clause. I have loads, so the hard part will be picking which ones we want to watch.
On Christmas, we will have an early dinner and listen to cheesy holiday music. I would love to have a gift exchange, if anyone is interested. Also, I have loads of games that we can play into the night.
I will provide the food for the evening, but please bring your own beverage. If you want to bring a snack or dessert, it would be helpful.
My house is on the Line 9. Get off at the Vingst station and turn left towards the traffic lights. Cross the street towards the flower shop and once again to the Apotheke. You are on Burgstrasse. Keep walking straight towards the St. Theodor picture on the building. I am right before.
I wish everyone a lovely holiday season and hope to see some of you as well.
