TOKYO! by directors Michel Gondry, Leos Carax and Bong Joon-Ho.

The film consists of three parts, each directed by a different director. Gondry's piece, entitled "Interior Design" tells the tale of a young couple trying to find their way in Tokyo only to find themselves dealing with a surreal, transformation situation. Leos Carax presents the viewer with "Merde", the bizarre story of a malicious subterranean creature's short-lived reign of terror over Tokyo and the resulting trial and media circus. The final featurette, directed by Bong Joon-Ho, is called "Shaking Tokyo" and it revolves around love between a shut-in and a pizza delivery girl.

    • “ I only really liked the last part about the hikikomori. I could completely understand the feelings he felt, and I was rooting for him all the way when he went out to look for the pizza delivery girl! I felt like I was running alongside with him, shouting at him, "Go! Go find her! Idiot!" I felt like I needed to go out for a long walk after watched that. The directing was absorbing and mesmerizing, and it captures the mood completely of being shut in from the rest of the world. The only thing that stinks is that you have to watch those two films first before you get to this one. ”
