Come join us at this delightful family owned tea house that also serves some tasty home cooking.

Spoon By H specializes in yummy Korean "snack" dishes (cooked by the mother), pastries (baked by the son), and refreshing hot and cold beverages (overseen by the daughter).

Read their Yelp Review!

Joy struck up a conversation with the daughter, and she found out that the mother is a serious homestyle cook with a ton of Ajummah Magic up her sleeve!

She is going to whip up some pan-Asian deliciousness for us:   Boneless beef galbi, bossam, kimchi fried rice, spicy chicken, bibimbap, Vietnamese spring rolls and much more will be on the menu.

They are creating a special menu just for us with about eight dishes and some additional surprises. I can't wait!

You must post a recent large headshot photo as your primary photo, so we can recognize you when you come to the restaurant. This is for the safety of all the members.

If you do not post a photo by Monday (January 13th), you will be dropped from the event.

Hope to see you there!

If you would have stayed with the group I was gonna talk with Andree about planning a custom dinner to your liking.

Jeff -- If possible it would be of great benefit to me to have custom dinners delivered to my home on an ongoing basis at your earliest convenience.

I was happy to get off the wait list, but I have a conflicting engagement that night so I can't make it after all.

Hi Everyone! :) Hope you've been well! Just got off the phone with the owner of the restaurant, and she will require a 50% deposit. Please be prepared to pay that in advance. You'll be receiving information on how to pay within 48 hours of this post. Keep an eye out for an email with instructions. Thanks!!

Also, I got news that I won't be in town on the night of this dinner, so I'm going to change my Rvsp to a no. Sorry about that. :( However, I did put in the order for all the special-order dishes for you all!!! :) ..........So, I hope each of you will have a great time!!! :) Andree will post or email you all about how to pay the deposit!!! :) Thanks!!

The event will cost $30 per person + tip. The entrees will be customized just for our group, so come hungry!! :) We may order desserts, too, after the 8 course meal, since this place has some great desserts. So, please plan ahead for that. (Bring extra $.)..... It's going to be a feast!! :) Seriously, you should fast the night before for this!! lol...

and theyre doing it based on 10 people , so hopefully we'll be a full cadre of 10 and therefor no flakes or no-shows

Yes, Yarom is correct!!! The $30 price is based on 10 diners. So, as always, no flakes and no no-shows are allowed. Also, no crashers are allowed!!!!****I sent out the membership policy for this group to all members this morning, so things should be changing. We're enforcing the membership policy effectively immediately. Plus, for this event, the rules are even more strict!!!******The restaurant owner is going out of her way to prepare all these dishes for our group. And, I'm coordinating all this, so everyone better appreciate!! :) Thanks to Andree, too, for posting this.

Anyone with a YES rsvp, who doesn't show up on time, will be removed from the group!!!!!! Keep in mind that the restaurant owner hasn't even asked us for a deposit, so it would be very upsetting to the restaurant owner, if one of us didn't show up to pay. After all, the entrees that we're pre-ordering aren't even on their daily menu. It would be a huge loss to the restaurant if we flaked. ******* If you can't attend, you must change your rsvp to NO at least 72 hours in advance, so someone on the wait list can take your seat.
