Fancy-Schmancy Battle - Chosun Galbee

I haven't been here in a while.

This will be a joint meetup with Pleasure Palate. Consequently, this Meetup will be run a bit differently:

  • No plus ones. NO exceptions.
  • If you RSVP and are a no-show, you will be banned. Trust me on this.
  • The group will not be larger than eight (four with us, four with PP). Please do not ask me to let you in if there is no space left.
  • There will be a waiting list.

It is a very different experience from our other KBBQ choices.

It is definitely NOT an AYCE restaurant. It is more of a "date" restaurant, or the sort of place you take people to introduce them to Korean Food. Their price is somewhat higher than a lot of Koreatown restaurants, but the overall quality more than compensates for the price.

There is valet parking* behind the restaurant, and a full bar if you want to have a cocktail beforehand.

*According to Yumi at PP, valet parking costs $1-$2.

The other dishes will probably be family style, too....some people may just want BBQ. I'll make that decision as I get more RSVPs in.

The BBQ part will be family style....I've decided to make this a joint meetup with Pleasure Palate.

They have a full menu. Surely their noodle dishes aren't that expensive? Or is this going to be a family style dinner outing, I wonder.
