Korean Study Group in Carrollton

This is an informal study group for all levels including both native Korean and English speakers who come to help each other. Native Korean speakers can come to practice their English speaking skills and native English speakers can come for help on their studies in the Korean language.

Native English speakers will need to bring their own study materials. We do have beginner packets to hand out for those first learning Korean.

It starts 7 pm at the Mozart Bakery next to HMART (Old Denton Rd and the George Bush Tollway) in Carrollton.

We also have a group dinner afterwards, usually around 8:30PM, at a restaurant in the HMart shopping center. We take a vote on where we want to go at the study meetup, so where we eat changes each week. This helps group bonding and also helps newcomers to experience their first Korean meal.

What you bring depends on where you are at in studying Korean.
In your case, we can try to pair you off with someone to have a conversation.
We also have a beginner packet that teaches the alphabet and few words, for anyone just starting.
If you have your own study guide or already in a class, then bring those materials so a native speaker can help you out.
If you need any extra books to help out, I bring like two backpacks of Korean language books every Sunday.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
