I have lived in Taegu/Daegu, Korea in 2004. It was a really great experience and loved it. Ever since coming back at the last day of 2005, I have always wanted to go back and live there. From there I taught myself the language (reading and writing) before finding the Houston Korean Education Center which furthered my learning as well as brought me to other people who also love the language and culture as I do.
I listen to a lot of Kpop. I am more into music than dramas but I do watch some dramas.None now thanks to school (too busy) but music yes. I listen to more old school kpop than current as well as listen to more rap than other generes in Korea such as the artists in the Movement (Epik High, Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo, etc). I definitely catch up to old school artists who are still making music like Shinhwa (have all of their full albums actually especially their most recent one). I do want to note my two favorite dramas on the top of my head is (in various names) My Lovely Kim Sam Soon and Thank You. Loved those dramas so much I had to watch them over and over again and by their soundtrack music, lol. Kpop wa hangeuk dramas saranghaeyo/ I love Kpop and Korean dramas.
I eat a lot and love eating. But thanks to certain experience I love JaJa Myeong, some forms of kimchi, fish cake (I believe is what its called), the anchovie type fish, rice, kimbap is amazing and so much more. I love food and eat anything though I did not really find the little roaches in the can food I had in Houston, lol but the more I try to better I know, lol.
Karaoke/ noraebang, music, food, anything involving Korea.
Hello. Nice to meet everyone. My name is Andrew Oshobu. I love Korean music/ kpop and still listen to the music, more old school than current though. I can speak and read Korean, not fluent but i can understand somethings. Still learning everyday lol
