Hello, all! July is around the corner. This time we will have beginner/intermediate classes with coffee & bagels. YUM!

NOTE: We cordially ask you to consider $5 donation. Donation is not required but appreciated.

Your donation is not for the instructors but for KIWA, a wonderful non-profit organization that lets us use their well-equipped and air-conditioned meeting spaces -- for free, at all times! KIWA opens their offices for other community groups too. It will be great to support them from our end with donations. Thanks, all!


BEGINNERS
The theme is "Korean for Busy People." Let's focus on practical expressions that YOU want to learn. No knowledge in Hangul (Korean alphabets) needed.

Please brainstorm on following topics and bring them to the meeting.


  • What are the places you run into Koreans and what expressions did you wish to know in those specific circumstances?
  • What do you want to say about yourself when meeting Korean people?
  • Any (weird/strange/different) Korean culture and/or behaviour you noticed?


INTERMEDIATE
Please brainstorm the following subjects and bring them to the class.


  • What you usually do on weekends
  • What summer vacation plans you have for this year
  • Any other questions on Korean & culture?

    Oops, sorry, George. You see, I haven't been able to attend social meetings either - they've been ALWAYS on the day I work or have commitments that I couldn't break. Ahhh.
