Intermediate/Advanced Korean Study Group

Official Announcement:

Please join us for a Korean study group – Intermediate/Advanced level, every Saturday, 11-1, at the Yellow House Café, 234 S Oxford Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90004 (close to Western and 3rd). Vallet parking $2. Ask for the Korean study group.

We invite Korean native speakers to help us out every Saturday, whenever available. This is NOT a class with an instructor. It’s an interactive study group. Each student prepares and brings material they would like to go over with the group. We will have a back-up “lesson plan” which covers material reviewed in preparation for the TOPIK exam - Advanced level.

We are looking for more Intermediate to Advanced level students and Korean native speakers to join our group. Native speakers do not need to bring any material. No teaching experience necessary. We ask that you try to speak Korean as much as possible. In exchange, we treat our native speakers for lunch/coffee!

This is a free event, however as a courtesy, we ask that you order at least one item so that we can keep coming to this venue. Their banana cappuccinos and chocolate smores are fantastic! For their menu and directions:

Please RSVP by Friday, so that I can make proper seating arrangements. Thank you.

If you are a beginner, the material we review will be difficult and subtle, and may confuse you with the basic grammar you are currently learning. We will not go over basic expressions and alphabet during our short session. For beginners study group, please refer to the group's calendar.

Hope to see many of you there!

지금 못 가요. 한국에서 살아요. 2년 전에 이 그럽에 갔지만 내 집에서 너무 멀었어. 다시 LA에서 이사하면 가 볼게요!
