2013 Los Angeles Korean Festival

Let's go to the K-Fest! Yay!

I learned that quite a number of KoreanLA members are attending and even performing on a stage during the festival! How exciting!

I am sorry to say that at this time this is a no-host event. But...

WANTED: Event Host for this day!
It's more fun to have someone to create memory with. Event Host will make certain members can meet each other and mingle. You may have to provide your cell phone number for those who arrive late and want to find a group. Can you host this event? Please click here to volunteer! I will then turn this to a hosted event! :D

Hosted or not, here's what I suggest you do:

Please meet near the park's sign on the corner of Irolo Street and San Marino Street at 11:30 am. Watch the show first (see if you can spot KoreanLA members!), walk down the food alley and hang out together. After 2:30pm, you are free to walk around on your own or with a group.

    Is this event dog friendly?

I think it's best that you call them. Although they did not see anything about dogs, they serve food, so I am assuming dogs are not allowed. It's the law.

Some friends from KCCLA might decide to join me or the other way around, but I'm in anyhow! So who's going?

    For those who are driving:

There will be two different paid lots for you to park at:
3450 Wilshire Blvd (very close to the Wilshire/Normandie station) - Here is a link to a parking coupon for $5 (I believe all day flat rate)

3670 Wilshire Blvd: $3 for first 3 hours and $5 all day parking. No coupon needed here. Since this one is a bit further away, they will offer a shuttle service every 15 minutes to the festival. Please allow enough time for the shuttle service as you may have to wait longer and let a couple of shuttles go depending how many people are using the service.

    Below is parking/metro instructions:

    For those taking the Metro:

Take the purple line to the Wilshire/Normandie station. If you don't want to transfer to the purple line and are okay with walking a little longer distance, you can also get off at the Wilshire/vermont station.

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
