What sparked your interest in Korean language and culture? What interests you about the language and culture?

Korean drama. I love to hear that language: so beautiful! I live in K-town so I figure why not?

What level of Korean language do you speak? If you are a native speaker, please e-mail the Organizer to volunteer to help others learn. Thank you!

Not a beginner nor fully intermediate but I'm learning every day. Hard to keep up with tight work schedules though.

What is your favorite Korean food?

Love most of Korean foods despite my allergies to sea shelves. Love Kimchi to death but without the shrimp sauce, Kimbap, pajeon and Tteokbokki. If I had to choose only one: tteokbokki!

Have you ever visited Korea and how did you like it?

Never. I have never knew that South Korea were so beautiful...one day I will! I'm thinking for the 2018 Olympics...maybe!!! By then I should be fluent, hopefully!

What would you like to gain from this group? We will do our best to organize events around your interests!

I'm from France. I'm a freelance VFX artist and I live in Koreatown. I'm addicted to Korean drama and its OST. I've been watching them in my spare time and they truly just make my day most of the time. Watching them makes me want to learn about the Korean culture that seems to float between tradition and modern world. I really like the ambivalence of the two worlds even though I'm a techie person.

Introduction

Love the language. Learning it through Korean drama right now! My goal is to be able to read, speak and write it fluently and to meet awesome Korean people! Hwaiting!
