Last Christmas, the K4K group got together and did Karaoke Christmas Caroling at local nursing homes. It was quite a heart warming experience.
One of the things I heard from the nursing staff is that everyone comes to visit the nursing homes at Christmas, but forget about these wonderful people the rest of the year. They all asked if we would be willing to come back again just to sing to the residents.
It seems like we all got so busy (especially me!) that we forgot about their requests, so I'm presenting this to you to see how much interest there would be in doing this again.
This time, it would not be a choir singing, we would have our own solo's, duets, or perform background vocals for each other.
I would like to shoot for the month of July with a theme of fun songs from the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's or Broadway tunes, jazz, croning songs, etc.; songs that the seniors would remember and enjoy hearing.
If you are interested, please shoot me an email.
