This weeks class will be very vigorous!
Insecurity, feelings of lack, fear, lower back pain, and spaciness are among the signals the body gives off when the core is out of alignment. The navel point, 2 inches bellow the actual navel, is the place where we can tell if work is needed in this area of the body. If you place yours hands on this spot you should feel a pulse. The pulse should be below the navel and centered. If it is too far down, too high, too left, or too right it indicates once again some work is needed in this area. The core/pelvis is so important because it is the body's center of gravity and the junction point for multiple body systems including the muscular and nervous systems, because of this much of your experience of who you are is dictated by the state of your core. Straightening/strengthening this area of the body goes beyond doing a bunch of leg lifts, crunches or bridges; it also requires we learn how to let go of tension patterns, establish correct eating behaviors, choose activities and work guided by our own inner authority (learn about this on Saturday: http://www.meetup.com/KundaliniAkal/events/165112122/?a=ra1_vl&_af_eid=165112122&_af=event ), and finally cultivating connection and gratitude for our time on Earth. When we work on our navel point we are opening our life up to prosperity. Prosperity doesn't exactly mean more money, what it ultimately means is we feel comfortable in our own skin. What I will be presenting in class are practices. If you establish a daily practice many of the issues you are suffering from will simply diminish or disappear all together. First we must accept that we are responsible for our own health, we are not victims, and within us are the keys to ease and comfort. No doctor, Yogi, massage therapist, chiropractor, etc... can offer you true cures for your dis-eases; your higher self is the guide, all you have to do is pay attention and surrender to flow; this does require you cultivate a different relationship with who you are and begin to see your challenges as an opportunity for growth.
