Welcome, Los Angeles AREA Gay and Lesbian Friends

This is a group, for gay women and men, OF ALL AGES OVER 18, that meets up multiple times a month. Does the idea of meeting up and getting out there appeal to you? We do not bar hop nor do we go out to the scene every weekend; do you really need a meetup for that?. This group combines all the other meetups out there that you see, but with a gay angle - to meet other gay people, professional or not, single or not to hang out and explore.

This group is about getting out there, doing all sorts of events, and exploring the City. Does joining in with others as we explore and get to know the City that we live in appeal to you? There are hundreds of points of interest in the greater metro area to see, to go and to do - so join along with us.

Then this is the place for you. So instead of going to the Abbey on Friday night, why not try a new thing to do. Let's always strive to do or go some place new.

As of June 1, 2009:
* In order to join, you must have a photo uploaded with your face clearly visible. No exceptions.
* In order to retain membership in this group, you must attend a minimum of 1 event in a three month period. We meet up several times a month, so this is more than doable. If you find that making one event out of fifteen in three months is not possible, meetup may not be for you.
* We only want people who are serious about meeting up. If you have problems with flaking on RSVP's, go somewhere else. After 3 no shows, you will be removed from the group.
* If you have an idea for a meetup, we encourage you to let us know. So if you don't see something that interests you, let us know.
