On my way home I stopped to survey the river and caught sight of eight pairs of eagles 7 mature pairs and two juveniles. Unfortunately only had my cell phone for a camera.

Is there enough snow for tubing? That's what my "big guy" would love in this...

I'll be there volunteering. I have the tough job of manning the bonfire! See ya there! I think it's right next to the hot chocolate tent....I am so lucky.

What an amazing response to this outing! For those who are signed up, if your plans change, please remember to update your rsvp in a timely fashion to give someone on the waiting list a chance to join us!
For those on the waiting list, do not despair! The Saratoga National Historic Park is open to the public for the Frost Faire, and the visitor center is open 9a-5p every day, throughout the year! The tour road is closed for the winter, but the park is open to snowshoeing, crosscountry skiing, and hiking at this time of year. Stop by the visitor center for a trail map and any information you might need. Trails are free to visit in the winter, otherwise it is $3 to hike/bike in the summer, and $5 per car.

If it's full can we just go and hang out at the "big hill" or do horse drawn carriage rides with the little one ect?? Sounds nice. Thanks.
