Hi~ My name is Anna Jean. I'm currently working my way back from a few years of hard illnesses and trying to use this year to transition into life again. The outdoors, the sunlight: it's all life-giving <3!
Kayaking (as seen in my pic ;-) )
Whoa. Right now I only have 972 characters to tell of my love of the outdoors. I was 3 years old, and I was helping my Grandfather carry a long piece of lumber. Context: he had a pin in his hip, had a hard time moving around, but spent his life working, and working hard---but he needed help. He looked me in the eyes and said "thank you, you're a great helper". Other relatives knew him as a "grouch". I got to see his goodness as well. Not a classic "outdoor" story, but "cherished childhood memory" and it was outdoors ;-).
LL Bean Outing Group is a list of happy superlatives: fantastic; great; helpful; personable; caring; fun....oh and I always learn a lot with LL Bean.... :D.
Hi Anne, the snowshoe hike is on for this Saturday. If you haven't already, please contact Nick who is coordinating the hike at [masked] or [masked]. Meetup doesn't give me your email addresses. Nick is organizing the group and depending on how many people RSVP will depend on the meeting place as parking is very tight at the start location of the hike. So, if you haven't RSVP'd with Nick directly, please do so. He needs to be able to contact you directly. Thanks! Christine
Hi anna; nice to meet you. I hope to talk more on Saturday at honest weights. We think my daughter may have RA. Sounds like things are tough for you right now. Take care, Laurie
You have RSVPed for RLT's upcoming Wildflower and Caving outing on May 11. We have room for just one more person on the caving portion of the outing. You have RSVPed for 2 people yourself included. We can only take 8 people into the cave. But the wildflower portion is unlimited. Do you still want to sign up for the caving portion of the outing?
