We will be hiking along the forbidden drive trail. we are going to hike the non-gravel side along the creek. this is not a smooth hike, the trails are hardened dirt with parts of rock and stone. we will hike along the creek then venture up into the valley. this is a great hike for pictures, plenty of trees, wildlife and well see the only wooden covered bridge in the city of Philadelphia. Along the way we will pass the Stone sculpture of the indian also! Dogs are a ok on leash. This is about a 4-5 mile hike and is on the moderate side. Great hike for all ages. there is parking lots on both sides of forbidden drive one is on Valley Green Rd and one on Wises Mill Rd, also there is on one Forbidden Drive its self but at times this can get full.i would google valley Green Inn and look at the best parking for you and what direction you are coming from.
