Had a pretty productive meeting, John helped me work through exercise 1.12 in SICP. My repo for SICP is here:

I came, but I could not find anyone so I left. :( If we're meeting again, let me know the next problem set, and which section of the readings.

Hey Sean, sorry we missed you. We were at Beckman until about 1630 and then moved to a cafe just East of Beckman since we thought nobody else would show after then.

Moving this meeting to Beckman auditorium @ Caltech, lets try a new location and see how it works. Peter won't be here this Sunday, but we can go through the exercise from last week.

Please update your RSVPs to indicate if you can make it, we'll meet outside Beckman.

Gotta take care of some last-minute Rails crap for work, but I'll post a Github Gist with my results around 3 tomorrow.

FYI the exercise for this weekend is Exercise 1.12 - Pascal's triangle. Feel free to implement it in either Scheme, Clojure, Scala, Haskell or any other functional language and we can compare notes.

    Hey everyone.

A new round of 'Functional Programming Principles in Scala' is starting at Coursera in 4 days https://www.coursera.org/course/...

This course uses SICP as a recommended reading, so it can be a great learning resource for people to use.
